Our 0.75mm EPDM pond liner is the latest in pond liner technology. It is manufactured in Europe by the largest Butyl manufacturer in the world. It is envisaged that Butyl will eventually be taken out of manufacture in favour of the EPDM. The U.K. is pretty much the only Butyl market left (thanks to many books written in the 70`s)
EPDM liner is of exceptional quality with all the same physical characteristics of the traditional Butyl liner. Indeed surpassing many of its physical properties.
EPDM has been used for several years on most commercial and large projects. We now have the opportunity to supply the domestic market with smaller sizes.
Retailing at the same price as Butyl we are finally falling into line with the rest of the world who have seen sales of Butyl fall sharply in favour of the better quality EPDM liner.
The UK is the largest user of Butyl pond liner in the world. Considering the size of the rest of the world it shows the popularity of EPDM in other countries.
